Norwood Scale - Norwood 7

norwood 7
At Norwood 7 Stage the only hair remaining is on the back and sides of the head forming a narrow “horse shoe” pattern with decreasing density. When compared to Norwood 6 the hair has receded to just above the ears and base of the scalp in back. This is the final and most advanced stage of the Norwood Scale.

If you have a history of hair loss or male pattern baldness in your family it's important to periodically monitor for indications of thinning hair or a receding hairline regardless of your current Norwood Scale classification. Identifying changes early on and implementing a preventive hair loss treatment can stabilize or slow your hair loss.
