DR. THOMAS HUEBNER
Dr. Tom Huebner is a Maryland-based, board-certified physician specializing in hair transplant surgery and diagnostic histopathology, including histopathologic classification of alopecia. Dr. Huebner completed his undergraduate training in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Maryland at College Park in 2005 prior to attending Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where he received his Medical Doctorate (M.D.) degree in 2009. After medical school, Dr. Huebner completed 4 years of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with distinction as Chief Resident, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Following residency, Dr. Huebner spent 2 years completing intensive fellowship training programs in surgical pathology and gastrointestinal and pancreatobiliary pathology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Huebner continues to be a practicing pathologist in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
Dr. Huebner was initially drawn to the field of hair transplantation after witnessing the amazing results achieved by patients of his brother, Dr. Matt Huebner, a world-renown hair transplant surgeon and founder of Natural Transplants, Hair Restoration Clinic.
